CALIFORNIA
San Diego-SCME Mortgage Bankers Inc. has hired Bob Bothereau as senior vice president of risk management.
In addition to the evaluation and management of credit, product and market risk, Mr. Bothereau will have direct operational responsibility for the post-closing, quality assurance, compliance and loan servicing divisions.
He joins SCME with over 20 years experience in the mortgage and mortgage insurance industries and has spent a significant portion of that time with Guaranty Residential Mortgage Insurance Co. where he was regional vice president of risk management and underwriting.
SCME also hired Dennis Walls as senior vice president and Eastern division production manager.
Mr. Walls is a 26-year veteran of the mortgage industry and was most recently the Eastern division production manager for American Mortgage Network.
He will be responsible for market penetration and growth in the Eastern United States.
