Police investigating threats at two Smyth County schools.

Apr. 26--Authorities are investigating threats found Wednesday at two Smyth County schools.

Students were evacuated from Chilhowie High School at 12:25 p.m., after officials found a note claiming a bomb was in the building, Sheriff David Bradley said.

A State Police dog trained in bomb detection was brought in but found nothing. Students and faculty were moved to the school's football field.

The discovery followed other messages found Wednesday morning at Northwood Middle School and another found Tuesday at Northwood High School.
