Apr. 21--DAYTON -- The Luxembourg-based Flint Group announced Friday an agreement in principle to acquire Day International, a Dayton-based producer of printing products with more than 100 years of business history behind it.
The acquisition is expected to close in 30 to 60 days, Flint said in a statement.
Thomas Koenig, Day vice president and chief financial officer, did not know if the Day International name would change, but he believed that the Day brand -- under which most Day products are marketed -- would remain.
Day has about 40 employees at its downtown Dayton headquarters and 1,300 to 1,400 worldwide. Koenig …
