To encourage the involvement and to raise the level of high-school age students in playing chamber music, ACMP Foundation will again offer a limited number of scholarships to string teachers in attendance at "Coaching Practicum" courses in June and July of this year. These programs take place within the context of Chamber Music of the Rockies at Beaver Creek the week of June 11-18, 2007, in Vail, Colorado and Credo Chamber Music, the week of July 1-8, 2007, in Oberlin, Ohio.
Participants at Beaver Creek will observe five hours of daily coaching by the Afiara String Quartet, residents at the Morrison Chamber Music Center of San Francisco State University. They will ...
