I SUBSCRIBED TO COLORLINES because of my sheer interest in issues of race, social (in)justice and power abuse in the United States. But in opening my first issue (Jan-Feb 2007), I am dismayed to read that among respectable figures like Chris Eyre or Marcia Smith of Firelight Media, you chose Elvira Arellano as one of the "innovators" for 2007. This is appalling.
