Royal Bank of Scotland's switcher campaign, which offers customers of other banks a 100 incentive to switch their current account to the bank, has been extended from Scotland to run in parts of England, as it seeks to attract new customers who are dissatisfied with their existing bank Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), the UK's second-largest retail bank, has launched its switcher campaign in parts of England, following a successful trial in Scotland, as it seeks to grow its share of the English current account market.

The campaign, under which people who switch their current account to RBS receive 100 ($196), was tested in Scotland between May and August and between October and December last year and was, says the bank, very -successful. It is now being rolled out in parts of England, starting with a …
