E-COMMERCE SERVICES SET TO BOOM IN VIETNAM.(Company overview)
HANOI, April 2 Asia Pulse - Online trading activities in Vietnam will undergo strong development in the years to come with the establishment of high-quality e-commerce websites, according to economic experts.
E-commerce websites have drawn a large number of Vietnamese customers, especially youth, as they can serve 24/7 and provide detailed specifications and information of products.
A number of businesses have scored initial achievements in this field. E-supermarket www. 123mua.com.vn, for example, has posted a month-on-month rise of 65 per cent in revenue since it was established in July, 2006.
At present, the website is selling 8,000 products, including garments and textiles, cosmetics and mobile phones.
One of the reasons behind the popularity of the website is its flexible payment method allowing payments through prepaid cards, transfer, Automatic Teller Machines (
