KABUL, April 2 Asia Pulse - A tourist centre will be established to provide information to foreign visitors in Kabul.
Ghulam Nabi Farahi, Deputy Minister for Information and Culture, said the establishment of the centre was an important step for the nation's tourist industry.
Farahi did not give a timeframe for the establishment of the centre.
However, he did note that students would be trained for tourism promotion in the proposed centre.
Farahi said tourist services, hotel management and subjects about Afghan culture, customs and society will be taught by local experts and teachers in the centre.
