Ten years ago, Cameron Silver, a former Weimar-style cabaret singer, opened a fancy vintage shop on Melrose Avenue, in Los Angeles. He was twenty-six, and he called the shop Decades. A few years later, Decades moved to a new space, above the old, and Silver and a partner, Christos Garkinos, now run a contemporary consignment shop, Decadestwo, on the lower level.
