Mar. 21--To the government, tax preparer Linda Ann Borden helped wealthy clients cheat the IRS out of millions in refunds. But her attorney says Borden didn't profit from the refunds that ranged from $27,000 to as high as $647,000 and simply prepared documents signed and submitted by her clients to the IRS. Borden's trial on a 27-count indictment began Tuesday in Orlando's federal court. Prosecutors accuse her of helping high-income taxpayers land $3.9 million in refunds instead...
