Recently, Moscow mayor Yuri Luzhkov visited Simferopol where the Moscow and Crimean government officials signed an agreement of intent reading to the effect that a working group should be formed to elaborate concrete suggestions about participation of the Russian capital city in development of the resort and recreation complex in the Eastern Crimea. Moscow authorities and businessmen are ready to invest more than $100 million in Construction of the recreation center in the village of Ponizovka in Greater Yalta.

Also, Mr. Luzhkov visited Sevastopol where he examined the facilities and establishments, which were repaired at the expense of the Moscow government, namely houses of personnel of Russia's Black Sea fleet, the Sailors' Club and sports center of the Moscow University affiliate. At the press ...
