Growth in Hispanic Population and Customer Base Fuels Search for Bilingual Employees
ORANGEBURG, N.Y., March 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon Wireless, America's leading wireless provider, is seeking highly-qualified applicants to fill customer-facing positions now available in the company's business sales, telesales and Communications Store teams throughout the New York Metro area. Locally, the company hired more than 800 employees last year to keep pace with the growing demand for its wireless voice and data products and services.
The Hauppauge, Long Island job fair will take place at the Islandia Marriott Hotel on Wednesday, March 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Located at 3635 Express Drive North, the Islandia Marriott is at Exit 58 off the Long Island Expressway/I-495.
Among the new full- and part-time employees being sought are English-Spanish speaking candidates to meet the needs of the New York Metro area's growing Hispanic population.
