Denmark's Roskilde assigned 'C' bank financial strength rating by Moody's.

LONDON (AFX) - Moody's Investors Service said it has assigned a 'C' bank financial strength rating (BFSR) to Danish regional bank Roskilde Bank, and local currency and foreign currency deposit ratings of 'A1/Prime-1'.

The outlook on all the ratings is stable.

The 'C' BFSR reflects the bank's strong regional franchise, good financial fundamentals and conservative strategy, the rating agency said in a release.

The rating also incorporates possible challenges from the intense competition in the Danish banking market and funding pressures, it added. …
