CHICAGO, March 7 (UPI) -- A U.S. study says the low-carbohydrate Atkins diet comes out on top in a comparison of four popular diet plans.
The study, published in the current issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association, says postmenopausal women assigned to follow the Atkins diet for one year lost more weight than women who followed the Zone, Ornish and LEARN diets.
