Looking at the big picture: the art of credit in an increasingly automated world: in the earlier days of commercial credit, the tools were simpler. Since those days, however, technology has rapidly permeated nearly all forms of business and it is difficult to imagine an industry where a computer isn't used in some portion of operations. Credit is no different; the profession has seen a flurry of technological advances in the software most commonly used to make credit decisions and to handle customer orders. Even the most old-fashioned, stalwart credit professionals have made successful transitions to the latest adopted technologies.
