Allianz Cornhill is relaunching its GBP6m musical instrument insurance division in the next few months, with broker marketing campaigns in the pipeline.
The insurer plans to use this year's British Insurance Brokers' Association conference in May as a platform to promote its musical instruments insurance offering to specialist brokers.
Over the next three years Allianz aims to reposition the business, which insured Robbie Williams' band's equipment on tour last year. It has traditionally sold the products either direct or passively through advertisements in approximately 10% of the country's 1500 musical shops.
