MANILA, Feb 28 Asia Pulse - The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) granted the request of school owners to increase tuition fees this coming school year, junking the tuition fee cap ceiling of not more than the current inflation rate.
The removal of the cap ceiling came after a lengthy dialogue between the Coordinating Council of Private Educational Associations (COCOPEA), the largest association of private educational institutions in the country, and CHED Chairman Carlito Puno.
