Feb. 27--Winston-Salem consumers gave Krispy Kreme's whole-wheat doughnut a thumbs up yesterday. In fact, some said, it may even be nicer than Krispy Kreme's Original Glazed, especially when accompanied by a cup of coffee. "You can definitely tell it's whole wheat which, personally, I like better," Mary Henshaw said. Henshaw and other customers at Sin Coffee Bar downtown were asked by the Winston-Salem Journal to participate in an unscientific taste test -- take a bite of Krispy Kreme's new 100 percent whole wheat doughnut and give an opinion.
