On September 12, 2006, George Keyworth, who until that day was the longest serving member of the Hewlett-Packard Board of Directors, was forced to resign after being identified as the source of a leak of company information. The leak was originally discovered in early 2005, after which current CEO Carly Fiorina launched an investigation into which board member was responsible.
