Wartsila to deliver 76 MW gas power plant to Kansas, USA.

Wartsila Corporation, Press Release, 21 February 2007 Wartsila signed an equipment supply contract in January for a 76 MW gas-fired power plant to Midwest Energy, Inc., a utility serving central and western Kansas. The contract is valued at more than EUR 25 million (more than USD 30 million). This power plant order is the second this year to the US and was mentioned in a press release published by Wartsila on 6 February 2007 regarding the Tierra energy power plant order. The power plant, to be called Goodman Energy Center, will be located in Hays, Kansas. It will contain nine Wartsila 34SG gas engines, which will supply power to Midwest Energy's 48,000 …
