MORE than 300 new jobs will be created when a meat factory expands.

The Woodhead Meat Bros factory, in Pinchbeck, near Spalding, will create the new jobs when it extends to twice its current size later this year.

The Morrison-owned abattoir, which currently slaughters 4,000 pigs a day, will add 5,014 sq m to its factory in Brunel Road, off Wardentree Lane.

It will recruit an extra 20 office workers, 260 industrial staff and 20 other people to run the plant.
