Feb. 13--PEORIA -- Some taxpayers are forgetting to request the telephone tax refund when they file their return.

So the Internal Revenue Service is reminding taxpayers that the one-time refund of the telephone excise tax paid on long-distance and bundled service is available on this year's tax return.
