In 2006 Indesit increased its sales and market share in Poland. The company recorded EUR3bn revenue and EUR76m profit. Its market share grew from 14.6 to 14.9 percent. The Italian home appliance manufacturer also announced new investments. However, the competition is strengthening. The largest player on Polish home appliance market is Amica. Indesit Company Polska general director Marco Zini says being number two is a great achievement, since in 1999 the company was in seventh position.
