MADRID (AFX) - Morgan Stanley & Co International Limited said it has placed 7.23 mln shares or about 2.37 pct of Union Fenosa SA at 39.9 eur per share.

The stake sale was on behalf of Almarfe SL, part of businessman Fernando Martin's holding Martinsa SA.

The range for the placement was 39.75-40.25 eur per share.
