What do you get when you mix five stories, 14 different levels and a historic building that must house a population of geriatric patients?

This was the architectural riddle presented to the design team at The Architectural Team Inc. The Chelsea, Mass.-based firm was handed a 60,000-square-foot building built in 1911 to serve as a high school. The multi-leveled structure came complete with a gymnasium and auditorium from its former life as home to the antics of youth embarking on life's journey.
