Feb. 8--Like a financial battle between two fast-food giants, the drug dealers in Greeley and Weld County are starting to fight for their customer's dollar. Sales of methamphetamines and the number of local meth labs have plunged in the past year because of recent drug arrests and a crackdown on the material needed to make meth. The most notable bust was in October, when police seized 45 pounds or 20.4 kilos of almost pure meth, 4 pounds of which was stuffed in a Tickle Me Elmo doll, and 1.1 kilos of cocaine in a car bound for Greeley from California. Police believe the bust stopped roughly 50 percent of the drug trade in northern Colorado.…
