A US newspaper claims that Dieter Zetsche, chairman of German-US automobile group DaimlerChrysler, will announce details of a major restructuring programme for the loss-making Chrysler division at the group's press conference in the US next week. The newspaper reports that Mr Zetsche will announce major cuts and that an additional 10,000 jobs at Chrysler will go.
