Feb. 6--The traffic light is more orange than yellow, and you're two seconds from flying through the intersection. Think you can make it?

Montgomery drivers might want to think again.

A City Council vote today could give city lawmakers the go-ahead to put the brakes on red light runners, based on a proposed ordinance that would allow installation of cameras at major intersections in the Capital City.

A proposal to install cameras was shot down by a 5-4 vote in March, but a former opponent said he may reconsider his vote based on some "eye-opening" traffic studies.
