Sexual Politics In your September issue, Christina Aguilera looks absolutely phenomenalN

like a 1940s goddess [OWhat a Woman WantsO]. And I commend her fight for equality in the expression of sexuality. But by using the video of OLady Marmalade,O a song about prostitution, as an example of OpowerfulO female sexuality, she is missing the point. Think of Marilyn Monroe, surrounded by suitors, singing ODiamonds Are a GirlOs Best Friend.O ItOs the person who does the choosing of partners who looks sexually powerful, and in the case of prostitution, thatOs the clients.
