CUPERTINO, Calif., Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Apple Inc. and the Beatles' Apple Corps Ltd. record label have settled their latest dispute over the name "Apple" and apple logos, the companies said Monday.
Under a new deal that replaces one reached in 1991, Apple Inc. will own the "Apple" trademarks and license some back to Apple Corps, the companies said.
The trademark lawsuit between the companies will be withdrawn, the companies said. Apple Inc. will continue using its name and logos on its iTunes digital media player application.
Terms of the settlement were confidential.
