Anti-HIV specialists disappointed over calling off human trial
Mumbai, Feb 4 (PTI) Reproductive biologists and specialists working on prevention of HIV/AIDS were disappointed over reproductive health research organisation CONRAD's decision to call off human trial on microbicide cellulose sulphate.
The experts attending the international conference on `Actions to strengthen linkages between sexual and reproductive health and HIV/AIDS', which began here today, said that they had hope on this cellulose phosphate formulations so much as it would have been a cheaper option for the poor women in many parts of the country and world.
