The heartbroken family of a young man who was swept to his death in Cornwall have, on the eve of his funeral, paid tribute to the people of the county and its rescue services.
Christopher Hunt, 24, was on a cliff-top walk with friends on New Year's Eve when the accident happened. He and a friend were exploring a cave in Trevone Bay, near Padstow, when a massive wave dragged him away.
A huge air and sea rescue mission was launched, with dozens of local volunteers joining the search.
