Signature Commercial Building Anchors New Songdo City as Northeast Asia's Business Hub
The groundbreaking for $800 million in New Songdo City projects including the $500 million, 65-story Northeast Asia Trade Tower, the signature commercial office tower in New Songdo City, will take place Thursday, February 1, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the New Songdo Marketing Center, New Songdo City, Incheon, South Korea.
Also breaking ground will be other key elements of New Songdo City: the $100 million, 300-room Convention Center Hotel and the $200 million, 100-acre Songdo Central Park.
Keynote remarks will be given by South Korea's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and Economy O-Kyu Kwon and U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Korea Alexander R. Vershbow.
Additional remarks will be offered by the Mayor of Incheon Metropolitan City, Sang-Soo Ahn.
