Over three quarters of brokers are not fully prepared for the new employment equality regulations, according to Peninsula BusinessWise.

In addition, 65% of the 873 brokers surveyed said that they have had difficulty interpreting any new aspects of employment law.

Claire Gunnell, head of HR compliance of Peninsula BusinessWise, said: "It is very worrying that brokers are not fully aware of the equality regulations, and the far-reaching effect they may have.
