Broker 2 Broker Insurance Services has taken over the run-off of Croydon-based broker Parker Barnard Havers' retail package scheme.
The internet portal, which was launched by Leeds-based broker SME Insurance Services last November (Post, 26 October 2006, p6), was chosen to handle the run-off of the schemes on behalf of PBH, owing to its expertise within the retail market.
It is understood that PBH's retail package was put into run off as the account was declining in overall policy volume.
Jason Gandy, joint managing director of B2Bi, could not comment on details of the purchase price.
