The Insurance Fraud Bureau could look to build a database on commercial risks as its next logical step, Post can reveal.
John Beadle, chairman of the IFB steering group, told Post that commercial risks as well as managing organised travel fraud could be next on the agenda. "We have previously said staged motor accidents affect commercial books as much as the personal lines books, but that shared data for these commercial risks doesn't yet exist. Building that dataset could be a logical next step.
