THIRTY ministers from key trading powers including the US, the European Union, Brazil and India are to hold intensive talks in the Swiss resort of Davos this week in a bid to come up with a broad road map of how to re-start and conclude the stalled Doha Round.

Until the injection of political impetus earlier this month, the talks had been in limbo since their dramatic collapsed in late July because of major differences over agricultural subsidies and tariffs.
