It's not exactly a tourist Mecca on par with the likes of Vail, Colorado, or California's wine country or the Grand Canyon, but nevertheless, word is getting out about the little Siberian village of Listvyan. The tiny village sits on the shores of mighty Lake Baikal, the world's deepest freshwater lake and home to 20 percent of the world's fresh water. There, the deep, primeval waters are now bringing tourists to Baikal, and hence, to Listvyan. The beauty of the area is not lost on those who make their homes in the Siberian wilderness.
