Smoothie maker Innocent was yesterday forced to recall 100,000 bottles of their healthy drink after they started exploding on their customers.
The company recalled three batches of its banana and strawberry flavour smoothie drink after the ingredients fermented, causing the bottles to explode.
Sandwich shop owner Roger Sutton said an erupting fruit smoothie propelled a three metre high jet of juice into the air at his store and terrified his assistant Angela Willis.
