Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications was the favourite mobile phone brand for German mobile users in 2006, according to survey by online mobile lifestyle magazine AreaMobile. Readers were asked to name the best handsets launched in 2006. Sony Ericsson took the first four places with the K800i, W850i, W810i and W900i handsets. These were followed by the Samsung SGH-D900, Nokia 6280, Nokia 6233 and the Nokia 8800 Sirocco Edition phones.
