Have you noticed a buzz in the air regarding international markets? Companies continue to expand their businesses through new markets, and despite our best exporting efforts, the trade deficit for the U.S. has grown to a staggering $810 billion+, give or take a few billion.
Globalization has changed the face of our economy. "Since 1995 imports have risen from 12 percent of gross domestic product to about 17 percent,' according to Businessweek (11/20/2006).
