To facilitate the invasion of the United States by illegal aliens and the massive importation of Chinese imports, President Bush is intent on building a NAFTA superhighway from Mexico to Canada with links to the East and West Coasts of the United States ("'SuperSlab' Paves the Way," October 2 issue). This roadway will be four football fields wide, with truck lanes, rail lines, and utility lines.

In building this superhighway, how many American farms and communities will be obliterated through eminent domain? How many American jobs will be lost by truckers and longshoremen, not to mention factory workers? What contraband will be shipped north, since there will be no customs inspection until Kansas City, and that facility will be run by Mexico and designated as sovereign Mexican territory?
