On the afternoon of November 12, a 69-year-old South Daytona restaurateur Ralph Arruzza was walking from Long Doggers, his restaurant, to his truck behind the business. He happened to notice two men walking down the street. He saw one of the men drop behind a vehicle. "The guy came back up again and he had a bandanna across his face," police Lieutenant Ron Wright told the Daytona Beach News-Journal. "He went toward the restaurant owner."
