The view from the Gerald Desmond Bridge is breathtaking. Maybe not as breathtaking in the scenic sense as, say, the views from the rim of the Grand Canyon, Yosemite's El Capitan, or San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge. But breathtaking in the historical, economic, and political sense.
