Having just read your Inside Track story "North Korea Nuke Crisis: Made in the U.S.A." (October 30, 2006), I have to add my opinion.
The Korean and Vietnam wars, and subsequent wars in Iraq and elsewhere, have indicated that the president, as commander-in-chief, has "loaned" American armed forces to the United Nations for their "peace keeping" operations all over the world.
