Having just read your Inside Track story "North Korea Nuke Crisis: Made in the U.S.A." (October 30, 2006), I have to add my opinion.
The Korean and Vietnam wars, and subsequent wars in Iraq and elsewhere, have indicated that the president, as commander-in-chief, has "loaned" American armed forces to the United Nations for their "peace keeping" operations all over the world.
Now with the president facing threats from both North Korea and Iran, it is possible that, again, a president may "loan" American ...
