Jan. 5--The U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Inspector General plans to audit Los Alamos National Laboratory's environmental cleanup efforts, a department memo shows. Specifically, the inquiry is to focus on goals outlined in a consent order, or legal agreement, governing cleanup. That agreementis between the lab and thestate of NewMexico.
