JOSE MOURINHO will hope Sir Alex Ferguson's newly-acquired bus pass won't see him waving from an open-top one at the end of the season. Fergie on a celebration journey around Manchester in May would be the worst possible nightmare for Mourinho in 2007. The Premiership trophy held high by Ferguson and perhaps the Champions League tucked underneath his other arm - the two trophies Mourinho wants most of all. He has found a defensive rock in Nemanja Vidic and the form ofPaul Scholes and Ryan Giggs has been consistently dangerous. If he finally signs Owen Hargreaves from Bayern Munich now the January transfer window is open, it can only boost United's chances of getting the title back. For all the pluses for United, we can only find minuses for Chelsea. The New Year represents the biggest test of Mourinho's career. With success comes expectancy and everyone - players and fans - is looking at him for answers. For the first time, he has turned on his players and that is a massive gamble of his manmanagement skills. To ...
