KEVIN PIETERSEN last night came under fire once more as Australia continued their psychological assault on England's leading batsman. Pietersen has already had to defend himself against accusations he is "selfish" from Aussie coach John Buchanan, and Glenn McGrath and Matthew Hayden also waded into the row yesterday. With the home side 4-0 up in the series, they feel their best chance of completing a whitewash is by getting under the skin of England's leading player. McGrath, ahead of the final Test of his career, insisted he is delighted with England's decision to move Pietersen up from number five to fourth in the order. And Hayden taunted the South Africa-born star by claiming his attempts at sledging Andrew Symonds in the fourth Test cost England dearly. McGrath said: "I'm not sure where England can go from here. And as for Kevin Pietersen moving up the batting order, we welcome that. "That's the way we prefer it - him facing the new ball. "We saw what happened in Melbourne when Stuart Clark had a new ball that nipped back and bowled him. "On previous pitches, he came in when the ball was a little bit older on very good batting pitches. "It suited him down to the ground.
