Byline: JOE MOTT
IT'S that time of year where I get them out and have punt at who I think will be big in 2007. They may not all sell heaps but will definitely enrich your CD collection. Leona off the X Factor will follow in Shayne Ward's footsteps - by being massive then becoming irrelevant. Girls Aloud, Arctic Monkeys and Kaiser Chiefs will all gift us new albums while I reckon there could be a cheeky resurgence in the dance scene. Live treats will include the return of Glastonbury and the Arctic Monkeys' very own mini festival. THE ENEMY I'VE already written about this Coventry trio. That's how good they are . . . they get another mention. The buzz is huge and for reasons like 40 Days and 40 Nights, a sure-fire festival anthem. These 18-year-olds have the gobby views and skills to craft quality tunes like Oasis and Kasabian. Genuinely exciting. IAMFINN NO spaces between his name, instead this 21-year-old Londoner prefers to focus on more important things like catchy pop songs. Lead single I Love You sees the electro and rock ...
