PRINCE William has been given an Army ultimatum - marry Kate Middleton or cool the romance. Key aides to the Prince have told him he must decide if they have a long-term future now he has become a military officer. Advisers have told the hunky prince, 24, to either announce an engagement in the New Year or cool his relationship with Kate, 24, while he goes through his next stage of training at Bovington Camp in Dorset. As they are not married the couple cannot live together on an Army base and fashion buyer Kate will not be able to be protected by the crack team of police officers who guard Wills. Among those involved in talks is his private secretary Jamie LowtherPinkerton, who watched with Kate as the Prince passed out from Sandhurst to become a second lieutenant with the Blues and Royals.
